Purchasing Manager (Purchasing)

Purpose of the job is to develop and deliver a purchasing strategy for Ineos ChloroToluenes (=ICT) that improves ICTís cost base both in the short and medium term and to act as the owner and single point of accountability for the purchasing spend of ICT.
This role will take the lead for the procurement of raw materials supplied to the ICT manufacturing facilities in Tessenderlo, Belgium and Maastricht, Netherlands. The job holder will manage ICTís key toluene relationships and be expected to closely follow market developments and outlook that could affect future supply and business strategy. The procurement of transport/ haulage services to the business is another key responsibility of this role. The job holder will also be the Customs expert for ICT.
The job holder will manage and cost effectively lead a supply chain organisation to provide a first class procurement, logistic operations, accounts payable and SHE performance. The job holder will define and own a number of KPIs to monitor performance and identify improvement and cost efficiency activities.
More generally and with the support of the Group Procurement Manager implement a procurement strategy specifically designed for ICT for the procurement of all goods and services. The job holder will also participate in the pan-INEOS Procurement Network.


Graduate with at least 5 years commercial and business experience.
Proven track record in procurement.
An effective negotiator with strong analytical and process skills.
Direct line manager experience is preferable for this role.
Fluent in English as well as Flemish

Dynamic, initiative taker with high energy levels and a hands-on approach.
Excellent communication skills and a high degree of influencing and challenging skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and concern for impact is a key requirement to be able to build strong and lasting commercial relationships with a wide range of suppliers and colleagues.
